BURN BAN OFF
All burning requires a permit in Point Roberts and be obtained at the fire hall. There is no cost and the permit is good for the year issued. Burn Ban's override the ability to burn during certain times of the year, regardless of the permit.
Violations of burning regulations may result in a minimum $250.00 fine and reporting to the Northwest Clean Air Agency for further enforcement. In addition, if you have a fire that escapes or needs to be extinguished by the fire department, you may be held financially responsible for fire suppression costs, as well as be criminally charged. Please burn safe - it is your responsiblity!
